Two people suffered minor injuries after crawling from the wreckage of a plane crash in El Cajon, just before the plane burst into flames.
The small plane lost power and crashed into a field in El Cajon.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said the plane was trying to land at Gillespie Field around 7 p.m. Friday. The Cessna 182 clipped power lines and went down in a field about a quarter mile from the airport.
Gregor says the pilot and a passenger were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
