More than 2,500 North County residents were without power for several hours on Wednesday as SDG&E worked to asses the outage, according to its website.
Residents affected were in Rancho Peñasquitos, Rancho Bernardo and San Pasqual. The outage started around 10 a.m. and by 4:45 p.m., 2,505 customers were still without power.

WATCH HEREHowever, by 8:30 p.m. power had been restored to all customers except four in Fallbrook.
