A rare and expensive car stolen from a Rancho Santa Fe garage was found in pieces and stripped of its parts, police say.
The $250,000 Ford GT was reported missing about a week ago and the owners offered a reward to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the car -- one of just 4,000 of its kind.
San Diego Police said they found the car in a Vista warehouse, stripped of its parts, missing its frame, transmission, and $40,000 supercharged engine.
Police don't have any information on who the suspects might be.
