About 250 Camp Pendleton Marines deploy to Iraq Sunday, military officials said Friday.
Troops from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 will spend seven months in the Al Anbar province, Iraq.
The helicopter squadron departing from Camp Pendleton will support the II Marine Expeditionary Force, as reported in the North County Times. The squadron includes Cobra and Huey helicopters.
About 25,000 Marines continue to serve in Anbar.
