Legoland has called off plans to honor the late Michael Jackson.
The reason? Unresolved legal issues. Park spokeswoman Julie Estrada said a tribute scene depicting Jackson as a 4-inch-tall miniature was halted Thursday, the day it was to be unveiled.
The park planned to choose one of five prototype scenes of Jackson and unveil it Friday at its Miniland U.S.A. in Carlsbad. The choices included a "Thriller" or "Billie Jean" theme, or a scene of Jackson wearing his signature white glove posed in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
