Firefighters were called to a house fire in Carlsbad Tuesday night, according to the North Comm Fire Department.
The fire started at approximately 10:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Magnolia Avenue.
According to fire officials, there was heavy smoke coming from the home.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire down before it spread to other homes or buildings.
Investigators are still looking into how it started.
