A brush fire was burning on Thursday evening next to the College Avenue off-ramp of Interstate 8 in the College Area.
The fire sparked at about 5:30 p.m. at the eastbound off-ramp of the 8 Freeway. Fire officials said no structures are threatened and no one has been hurt.
California Highway Patrol officers have shut down the off-ramp and are providing traffic control.
A cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
No other information was immediately available.
