The so-called Ribbonwood Fire, burning near Interstate 8 in Boulevard was 15 percent contained Wednesday night, Cal Fire officials confirmed.
The fire sparked at 3:51 p.m. west of Ribbonwood Road. It had spread to 10 acres as of 4:05 p.m.
As of 5:30 p.m., Cal Fire officials said the brush fire had burned 25 acres and was 15 percent contained.
There was no threat to any nearby structures.
No other information was available.
