A body was discovered at a golf course in San Diego Saturday morning, officials confirmed.
The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) said the body was found at the Admiral Baker Golf Course in the 2400 block of Admiral Baker Road just before 8 a.m.
At this point, it appears the death was not suspicious, as SDPD homicide detectives have not launched an investigation and are not searching for suspects.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner (ME) has been called out to the golf course to take over the investigation. The ME will ultimately determine the manner and cause of death.
The Admiral Baker Golf Course is located in the Grantville area, about nine miles northeast of downtown San Diego.
No further details were immediately released by officials.
