Police are searching for a man they say beat and sexually assaulted a woman near Teralta Park.
The 36-year-old woman was walking on a path between Teralta Park and University Avenue at about 8.30 p.m. Sunday when she was sexually assaulted and beaten, according to police.
The suspect is described as being in his mid to late 20's, about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with a heavy to muscular build. He had short black hair, no facial hair, a round face and thin lips, police said.
The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and shorts with a white stripe on them.
