Several large trees caught on fire in San Marcos Wednesday evening, according to authorities.
Fire crews responded to reports of a structure fire around 5:20 p.m. at Avenida Azul and North Las Posas Road near Palomar College.
When they arrived at the scene, firefighters found several large trees and surrounding brush ablaze, though crews said no structures or businesses were threatened.
They managed to knock down the blaze within minutes.
