A man’s body was recovered Wednesday along South Mission Beach, San Diego police said.
A passerby called lifeguards just after 6:30 a.m. to report finding the person off of Hospitality Point on the San Diego River side of the jetty.
Police said there is no information on what may have caused the man’s death. They have called for staff from the county medical examiner’s office.
