Mother of Drugged Baby Sentenced

San Diego mother learns her fate

A San Diego mother who admitted to endangering her daughter when the child allegedly drank the date rape drug GHB, has been sentenced to one year in jail and four years probation.

On Wednesday a judge also ordered Bryttsa Arguello take classes for domestic violence and child abuse.

She pleaded guilty last month to child endangerment and possession of meth.

Police say she and her 3-year-old daughter were at a house in National City when the child complained of being thirsty, and drank a clear liquid, possibly GHB.  The child vomited and lost consciousness before her mother took her to the hospital emergency room.
