The Down Syndrome Center at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego will benefit from an upcoming Food and Wine Festival.
The group, known as Down Syndrome Action, together with the Butcher Shop, will host the event Oct 25 in Kearny Mesa.

DS Action partnered with Rady Children's Hospital to establish the first Down syndrome center in Southern California. The Center offers multidisciplinary assessments, recommendations and case management by a team of medical specialists. DS Action is a group of parents, medical specialists, social workers and business professionals who formed the non-profit group to enhance the lives of people with Down syndrome.
