I've become a little obsessed with music documentaries on Netflix. And once you watch a few, your recommended viewing fills up with them. Some are better than others, to be sure, but you usually know it's going to be a good one if Toots pops up. He's a veritable walking encyclopedia of music, and tonight, the living legend performs at Harrah's Resort SoCal with Toots & the Maytals. I wish he would live forever, but alas, one day we'll be grieving his passing and though I hope that day doesn't come anytime soon, who's to say how long he can tour? So, catch him while you can and pay respects while the living still live. Around town, Southern California rockers the Jacks are joined by the Frets at the Casbah, Los Cafres play House of Blues and Sully & the Blue-Eyed Soul Band play a fundraiser at the Belly Up.
