Sounds Like San Diego: Jan. 28

Locals love Wednesdays at Belly Up with Dead Feather Moon and others

Don't you just love that joy when Wednesday is upon us and you realize you're halfway through your work week? Especially when you have great live music to get you through the hump. Catch the first of two nights on Wednesday with the Devil Makes Three at the House of Blues. Be sure to arrive early enough for Joe Pug, who'll win your heart and break it at the same time. Meanwhile Crash Kings return with a show at Soda Bar, while Blue Suns perform at the Merrow, and the Rotten Johnnys play at the Casbah. The pick of the night, however, is up at the Belly Up, where a killer lineup of locals perform. Of course you know them all, but this one is extra special because Barbarian just released their debut full length Tuesday. This show is definitely worth the effort, whether Belly Up is your local hangout or you have to carpool to get there.
