I am going to need to take some time off to catch up with sleep after all of the amazing music this week. At Brick By Brick, catch a second night of Face to Face. If you've got Casbah tickets, you're going to want your earplugs as Melvins return for their annual sold-out shred. Still, I lean toward new music and if you want to catch the future of alternative radio, get to the Voodoo Room at House of Blues for Mansionair, Mikky Ekko, and Prince-inspired NoMBe. Meanwhile, Cody Jinks is sold out at the Observatory North Park; 5 Seconds of Summer play the big stage at House of Blues; and Oakland-born crooner Bart Davenport plays Bar Pink with his band, Bart & the Bedazzled, in anticipation of his seventh record release this Friday.
