If you have a thing for dinosaurs, you’ll want to grab a ticket see a new show heading to San Diego.

“Walking With Dinosaurs, The Arena Spectacular" is coming to the San Diego Sports Arena on January 1 – 4, 2008.

More than 1,000,000 people in the U.S. have checked out the feature which takes a subject that’s been studied, written about and even glamorized on the silver screen and makes it fresh and exciting again.

You’ll see ten species from the entire 200 million year reign of dinosaurs shown actual-size.

The show depicts the dinosaurs' evolution, complete with climatic and tectonic changes that took place, which led to the demise of many species.

The curator of paleontology at the San Diego Natural History Museum saw the previews and hopes the show sparks new interest in the public - especially children.

"Certainly gives you the sense of the size of these animals," Tom Demere. "How did these animals really move and what would it be like to be there 65 million years or 140 million years ago when these animals were actually walking through the world they lived in."

More than 100,000 tickets sold at the Los Angeles showings so if you're interested, get your tickets early.
