San Diego teenager Allie Trimm is taking on Broadway in a new musical called, "13". It's about a 15-year old boy from Manhattan who is forced to relocate to Indiana after his parents separate.
Cast member Graham Phillips, 15, told The New Yorker magazine that life between performances for him and two of his other young co-stars has been fast-paced. The "13" kids seem to be riding out their awkward years on a show biz cloud according to the article. This is Trimm's Broadway debut.
"13" is now playing at the Bernard B. Jacobs theater.
