Excited fans of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup are not so excited about the inflated ticket prices.
At $99 for a single day pass and $269 for the 3-day festival pass (less fees), the re-birth of layaway might not only be attractive to housewives and tech-geeks.
Layaway tickets for Coachella are only available on-line, as are layaway payment plans for Stagecoach Country Music Festival - Country Thunder USA.
Goldenvoice Concerts will offer Coachella fans 2 layaway options for the 3-day festival pass and on-site camping tickets only.
The first includes paying 50% of cost now and the rest on April 1st. Or select to pay in three equal installments, starting on the date of purchase, then the 1st of March, and finally the 1st of April.
Buyers beware; there is usually a deadline on the last day for layaway ticket plans, so check the website.
Similar layaway options will be available for Tennessee’s famous Bonnaroo Festival, the Mile High Music Festival in Commerce City, Colorado; the Rothbury Festival in Michigan; and All Points West Music & Arts Festival in Jersey City, New Jersey.
