Is it October yet? Normally, we’re all about livin’ it up during the summer (have you heard about our Summer Splash shows?) – but fall just got exponentially more attractive. Grab your dancing shoes and glow sticks, folks: CRSSD Festival is once again taking over San Diego's Waterfront Park -- this time, on Oct. 1-2 -- with some of the most forward-thinking dance music acts in the scene right now.
This will be the fourth and latest incarnation of the two-day electronic music festival that takes place on the San Diego Bay. After getting into the indie-rock territory last year with TV on the Radio and the Flaming Lips, the upcoming October lineup is a decidedly EDM-focused albeit with a few curveballs (much like their March 2016 edition): Miike Snow, ZHU, Cashmere Cat, Lido, Flight Facilities and Ta-Ku are just a few of the main headliners.
Some of the most in-demand underground DJs on the planet like Bonobo, Maya Jane Coles, Felix Da Housecat, Huxley, and more will also be hitting the fest this fall, along with more huge acts including Claptone, Thomas Jack, Big Wild and others. If you love EDM, there's just no excuse not to make it out to this thing.
The kicker? The current lineup is just “phase 1” of the acts scheduled to perform. CRSSD organizers will be rolling out more announcements as we get closer to the date, so keep your eyes peeled right here for info.
