Hopefully, we'll always have Paris.
That won't really happen, but we'll get to watch her play for at least 2 more years. Aztec sophomore Paris Johnson is one of the best low-post players in the nation. This week she was certainly the best player in the Mountain West Conference. Paris won the Conference Player of the Week Award on Monday.
Johnson leads San Diego State in scoring and rebounding this season. Last week she had a pair of double-doubles in wins over New Mexico and BYU. Paris, a San Diego H.S. alum, has already won three Player of the Week Awards in her career.
The Aztecs play at TCU on Wednesday.
