This week, a Chula Vista 3-year-old had a minor run-in with a drone. The child suffered a few nicks and cuts on her face, but her family says it could have been much worse. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, at least 8 different hate groups are active or headquartered in San Diego County. They include an anti-LGBT group, an anti-Semitic group and black separatist groups. Experts say the number of hate incidents are increasing locally, but these latest statistics show the number of hate groups in the County is the lowest it's been in five years.
