After months of anticipation, San Diego-area residents can get their first tastes of Sonic Drive-In’s Tater Tots and Extra-Long Cheese Coneys at the grand opening on April 6.
The franchise is located at 10515 Mission Gorge Road in Santee.
If you don’t know anything about Sonic, let us enlighten you.
- Customers park in their own drive-in stall and push a red button on the menu board to place orders from their car. (How cool is that?)
- Carhops deliver orders to customers who are in their cars or sitting on the patio.
- Sonic also has its very own radio network customers can enjoy while at the drive-in.
The drive-in will be open from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., April 6-12. Beginning Monday, April 13, the drive-in will begin its regular hours of 5:30 a.m. to Midnight.
