Party goers will have a safe option home

Trolley Service to 'Mardi Gras '

The Metropolitan Transit System will be offering enhanced Trolley service to the downtown area for commuters planning to attend Mardi Gras festivities in the Gaslamp, on Feb. 21.

The main entrance to the event is located on 5th Avenue, just south of Broadway, and served by the blue and orange lines. The second entrance into the event located at 6th Avenue and K Street, will be served by the orange line.
MTS will depart from various locations including Mission Valley, Old Town, La Mesa, SDSU, and Chula Vista. Customers are encouraged to travel early. All day passes are $5.
Bus routes serving downtown and the Gaslamp district will continue to operate as normal.
