Theft Reported at Luxury Gaslamp Hotel

A man walked into the lobby of a Gaslamp hotel recently and, when he thought no one was looking, stole a laptop from the front desk.

San Diego police have released surveillance images of the man wanted for grand theft after the incident on Feb. 29.

Officers say the man in the images walked into the lobby of the Ivy/Andaz Hotel on F Street in San Diego at 2: 25 a.m.

The unidentified man stole a laptop from the front desk and left on foot.

When he's apprehended, the man will face charges of grand theft according to investigators.
