National Night Out Events in San Diego

The first Tuesday night of August is set aside as a time for communities to come together to help prevent crime in San Diego's communities.

Here's a listing of events happening around San Diego County in observance of National Night Out.

San Diego County Sheriff's Department:

  • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Encinitas Target parking lot on El Camino Real
  • 3 to 6 p.m. Poway Sheriff's Station
  • 3 to 6 p.m. Connors Park in San Marcos
  • 3 to 7 p.m. Target parking lot on Jamacha Road in Rancho San Diego
  • 4 to 7 p.m. Alpine Sheriff's Station
  • 5 to 7:30 p.m. Robert Egger Park in Imperial Beach
  • 5 to 7 p.m. San Elijo Hills Park
  • 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the corner of Main Street and South Indiana Avenue in Vista
  • 5:30 to 8 p.m. Santee Trolley Square on Mission Gorge Road.

San Diego Police Department:

  • 4:30 p.m. Teralta and Colina parks
  • 5 p.m. South Bay Recreation Center and at the Kroc Center
