Flight From San Diego to Denver Searched for ‘Possible Security Threat': FBI

A United Airlines flight from San Diego to Denver, Colorado was searched for a possible security threat, according to officials.

The pilot of United Flight 231 reported the incident Monday evening as the plane was landing at Denver International Airport, according to our affiliate station in Denver.

A spokesperson for United Airlines said they had received a "non-credible" threat and everyone was taken off the plane as a precaution. 

FBI officials conducted a search of the plane and gave the all-clear around 10 p.m., the spokesperson said.

The plane was parked in a remote area of the airfield during the search, according to FBI officials.

Passengers were driven back to the airport gate.
