Children's Bodies Found Near Border IDd

DNA and other evidence shows the siblings died after being swept away.

Two bodies found near the Mexico border have been identified as siblings, who drowned when their vehicle was swept away in Tijuana downpours last month, according to the Medical Examiner.

DNA and other evidence shows 6-year-old Tiffany Virginia Cruz and 1-year-old Hector Jorge Cruz died in the Jan. 20 storm.

The children were in the back seat of a vehicle swept away by rain runoff. Their 10-year-old sister died in Tijuana.

A volunteer group called Desert Angels found the boy Jan. 27 on U.S. soil and his older sister four days later.
