Burglars Steal Cold Medicine at Gunpoint

El Cajon Rite Aid robbery might be linked to a similar robbery in the area

A couple robbed an El Cajon pharmacy Wednesday afternoon at gunpoint.

The suspects did not take any money from the Rite Aid on 1135 Avocado Dr. They did, however, take several containers of cold medicine, according to El Cajon police.

Police also said the two approached the pharmacy and told an employee they had a gun and would shoot. A gun was never seen, though, police said.

El Cajon police believe these two suspects may be linked to two other robberies in the area.

Police described the suspects as a man about 6'1'' and 280 pounds and a woman 5'4'' and 140 pounds.
