Internal problems caused by a computer are not controllable by a driver. I have a connection to Bob Baker Lexus and to the city of Santee where this happened, which makes this all too real for me. Most of all, I am sad for the family who perished because of this accident. Killing engine kills ALL power, to include steering, brakes and traction control (which is amazing technology).<br><br>I'm not even going to dignify other speculation by responding.<br><br>Suggestions that follow are NOT intended as criticism of the actions or omissions of anyone in that car. This is a HORRIBLE situation to occur in SoCal traffic, and it may be a tribute to the driver of that car that so few came to harm. This is so tragic and my whole soccer team and my b-team will miss her, her mother, her father and her uncle. Look, please dont assume that the father was drinking, becasue he wasnt. Trust me, he was a good man as well as a CHP officer.
