Wild & Scenic Film Festival

NATURE LOVING: There's nothing not to like about a touring film festival. The organizers want to bring the good stuff straight to the public, which is a noble act indeed. And when the films being screened are about conservation, and our pretty planet, and the people working to help it, in myriad ways, well, bravo. That's just a nugget about the big, going-all-over Wild & Scenic Film Festival, which kicked off its tour in Nevada City back in January. Lucky for Southern California, and the Central Coast, that the tour will be stopping in Ventura.

DATES: Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Ventura Hillsides Conservancy. It looks like there are some upcoming stops in Sacramento, Sonora, the Tahoe area, and Redlands, too. Read more about the mission behind the fest now.
