Australian pro-surfer turned musician Ry Cuming takes the stage at the Belly Up, opening for Justin Nozuka
Coming off Labor Day weekend is always hard. It marks the mental end of summer, kids head back to school, and I don't know about you, but a four day work week always feels a bit overwhelming because the workload doesn't take holidays. Soulful singer-songwriter Justin Nozuka will give you great respite after a long day, or perhaps you want to check out the bluesy garage-punk of The Gories at the Casbah. The Fairmounts have accepted a Tuesday night residency at Eleven, or catch an early singer-songwriter showcase at Soda Bar. Just because the weekend is over and summer is fading doesn't mean the music ever has to stop.
