Just because our weather can't seem to decide if we're holding on to summer or ushering in the sweater weather of fall doesn't mean you have to let either climate dictate your San Diego weekend. I mean, rain or shine, Saturday is going to be amazing. Neighborhood is celebrating it's five-year anniversary with a block party downtown that you can hit before you head up to North Park for Rocktoberfest. The third annual event is packed with the very best of San Diego music as well as headliners Mariachi el Bronx, who, as you may well know, have strong ties to our city. This is going to be the best Rocktoberfest yet, and don't forget that you have in-and-out privileges to patronize neighborhood businesses. By nightfall, you can stick it out at Rocktoberfest or head to the Soda Bar for Woods or the Sheepdogs at the Casbah, or if you had the foresight to buy tickets, check out the sold-out Frightened Rabbit show at the Irenic or the also-sold-out Livewire 20th anniversary at the Lafayette that is hosting the reunions of No Knife and aMiniature.
