Sounds Like San Diego: November 23

When the Black Angels and Black Mountain announced their tour, San Diego hadn't quite yet been confirmed, so there were Internet grumblings about yet another tour ignoring our sleepy town. When the show was finally announced, there was considerable excitement among music nerds who know that Black Mountain and the Black Angels both bring music chops whenever they tour. Their unique psych-rock harks back to an era gone by, all the while putting their own unique touches to the sound. This is a co-headlining tour, so expect both bands to play full sets. Get to the Belly Up early because you don't want to miss either.
