Sounds Like San Diego: March 3

It is another night of musical variety here in San Diego. While I am partial to my indie rock, sometimes I lean a little more in the middle of adult alternative, which is why tonight I'm leaning toward Scars On 45 at Anthology. The band performed last year at Sunset Sessions and have spent the past year criss-crossing the states to a welcome reception from radio stations and fans alike and I suspect that they'll be selling out much larger venues soon, so this will be a good chance to see them headline with a full set of their tunes. Around town, however, there are plenty of other great options like Zola Jesus at the Casbah, an Americana night at Tin Can, and you can catch locals The Makeup Sex as they open for their buddies in Alkaline Trio at the House of Blues.
