Thursday's late night options include the irreverent comedy of Neil Hamburger at the Casbah, the country-glazed music of the Folke-Wolves at Soda Bar and the return of TNT -- Thursday Night Thing for the uninitiated -- at the Museum of Contemporary Art adjacent to the Santa Fe Train Depot in downtown. But the night's top recommendation is a rare early show at the Casbah featuring Anais Mitchell and Jefferson Harmer. This one is for the folkies out there, but as these two are big names among that genre, they've largely gone unnoticed by the population at large despite Mitchell's coveted opening slot on a recent Bon Iver tour. This is going to be a quiet show, so steer clear if you're in full-fledged party mode, lest you ruin the experience for everyone around you. But if you enjoy a Lestat's-like experience along with your adult beverages, this promises to be a great show. Just do true fans a favor and save your raging for after the set.
