Tim Lowman talks about the one-man band everybody's talking about. (Published Wednesday, Jun 8, 2011)

We just got word that the Black Lips show tonight at the Casbah is sold out, so why don't you head on over to Soda Bar to catch three new bands you've likely never heard of? Mother Mother are catching some buzz, and Hot As Sun has a 15-minute preshow with live painting and jazzercise, and they gift the audience with homemade fortune cookies. Around town, Meg & Bryan perform at West Coast Tavern, while just around the corner Lord Howler brings the rage to Bar Pink, and Behind the Wagon will rock Eleven.
