This is a big sports day for San Diego, but even if you're going to opening day, that doesn't preclude you from enjoying live music around town later in the night. You can catch '90s rockers Local H and local band Subsurfer at the Soda Bar, the Belly Up has a beer fest with brewery-inspired bands and songstress Angel Olsen brings her stunning vocals to the Casbah. Legend Arlo Guthrie is downtown, too, so plan accordingly if you have tickets and be sure to arrange for alternative transportation because parking is going to be at a premium.
