Turns out some of the Chargers are big Beatles fans.
Three players from the team visited the iconic Abbey Road intersection in London recently to pose for a re-enactment of the album cover of the same name featuring John, Paul, George and Ringo.
Philip Rivers, Billy Volek, Charlie Whitehurst and fourth person who was unidentified posed for the photo while the team was in England to play the New Orleans Saints. Apparently, the guys made third-stringer Whitehurst go shoeless in the picture in homage to Sir Paul McCartney.
