Children at Rady Children’s Hospital got a super treat when Captain America and Spiderman came to wash windows on Halloween.
Along with Captain America and Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and The Flash made the young patients smile on Monday.
The window washers were from A Plus Window Cleaning and the masquerade is a Halloween tradition.
“Any time you can make a kid smile, that’s a cool gig,” said window washer Andy Alvarez, who came dressed as Spiderman.
Alvarez said the kids loved seeing the superheroes, many breaking out into big smiles or giving them high fives.
That’s the reason the window washers come to Rady every day.
“Being here and seeing all these characters makes her happy,” mom Sillia Feliciano said of her young daughter.
