At least one victim was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital Thursday evening after a school bus collided with a car in La Jolla, officials confirmed.
The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. at Girard Avenue and Torrey Pines Road.
Emergency crews from the San Diego Fire Department, San Diego Police Department and California Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
An official from SDFD said one victim was taken to Rady Children’s Hospital from the site of the crash. The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown.
CHP dispatchers said the school bus was carrying multiple children at the time of the crash.
