There are some pretty great reasons to get out of the house tonight. Head to the Belly Up to catch the kings of contemporary Afrobeat, Antibalas, who know how to get the party really going. Meanwhile, Portland musician Kyle Craft plays at the Casbah. NPR said of his latest, "(his) second album is full of unabashed odes to courtship, confusion and the timeless power of storytelling in song." At House of Blues, acrobatic alt-rockers New Politics return once again, Chicago rockers Protomartyr play a packed house at Space, and art-rock project U.S. Girls perform at Soda Bar. Tonight's lineup is going to be a great way to roll right into an amazing weekend.
