Sounds Like San Diego: Jan. 26

The Soft Moon keep their SD date and play Casbah Tuesday

Tuesday would've been the night that Killing Joke was supposed to appear at the Belly Up; however, after they canceled their tour due to the illness of a band member, we have to look at the bright side. In this case, the bright side (or dark side, if you prefer), is that the Soft Moon, who was slated as the support act, is still playing, only as the headliner at the Casbah. The San Francisco post-punk project of Luis Valdez is an indie darling, getting love from bloggers like former Hipster Runoff proprietor Carles.Buzz. Expect to see your favorite goth friends at this one. Around town, Hal is back at the Merrow with Echo Park Social Club, while Dante Elephante stop by Soda Bar, and the Hideout gets nostalgic for emo with a night they're calling "Through Being Cool".
