I can hardly express how excited I am for tonight's Sylvan Esso show at the Observatory. I've caught the duo on every San Diego stop they've made thus far (and a couple out of town appearances, too), and I'm just so into everything they do. I appreciate the strong brand of feminism Amelia exudes. Of course, this one sold out super quickly, but there are other great options. Metalachi plays their rescripted covers at the Casbah, where they expect audience participation. Meanwhile, at the Irenic, a pretty rare chance to catch the Creepy Creeps playing an all ages show. Usually kids can only see them at the occasional street fair, so this show is kind of a big deal and a chance for the Creep love to seep across generations. Elsewhere, Pink Martini play Humphreys, Australian Pink Floyd play Harrah's and B-Side Players lead the dance party at Music Box.
