Foodies Can Taste and Test to Their Hearts Content

A lineup of chefs that include some of San Diego’s best will be among those presenting at the Gourmet Experience on Oct. 9-10, organizers announced this week.

Among the chefs participating are Chef Bernard Guillas of The Marine Room, Chef Brian Malarkey of Searsucker, Chef Scott Wagner of ChileCo and Chef Jeff Rossman of Terra.

The expo offers foodies the chance to taste, test and shop new products just hitting the market - from mouthwatering chocolates, sauces, snacks and cheeses to the season's hottest trends in kitchen appliances and culinary products.

At the same time, the event will showcase live cooking demonstrations and mixology lessons.

"Our priority is and has always been to bring fun and relevant content to our attendees and this year's round up does just that," said Michelle Metter, co-producer of The Gourmet Experience.
