In the couple of years since the North Park Theatre became the Observatory North Park, we've had the pleasure of seeing dozens of shows there. While some stand out for music, artistry, or even lighting, Passion Pit's show was definitely one of the top. They had a late summer release in 2017, "The Tremendous Sea of Love," and it's no surprise this show is sold out. If you missed your chance at tickets, you still have some great show choices tonight. At Bar Pink, our buddy Low Volts is back in town, or check out the Stone Foxes who return to the Casbah. The lush sounds of Banditos will fill Space, and Wallows play with my favorite clever band name of the night, the Downer Party. Lots of fun choices that might make you want to kick off your weekend a night early.
