Scientists Use Genomic Sequencing to Track COVID Spread in County

Scientists at UC San Diego and Scripps Research received a $2.5 million contract from the Center for Disease Control for a study and have, so far, sampled 2,000 positive COVID cases, reports NBC 7’s Lauren Coronado.
