SANDAG Pursues Regional Transportation Plan

A citizens’ initiative for a proposed sales tax increase failed to gather enough signatures to make the November ballot. The proposal was supposed to be one of a few ways SANDAG was going to fund its ambitious $165 billion regional transportation plan.
