Conference held in San Diego focuses on making schools safer

Educators from across the country were in San Diego to learn about different ways to keep students safe. The conference in Mission Valley was established six years ago and focused on school shooting threats. Since then, it has expanded to address the risk factors that might lead to school shootings, such as bullying. NBC 7’s Shandel Menezes reports on May 9, 2024.
